me what the boys will find enjoyable. For example, we are sitting around our den listening to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra The Lost Christmas album, and they are thoroughly joyful. I became a fan of TSO several years ago and began to collect their works. The boys became fans because I am the driver of the van. Everybody knows that driver gets to pick the music.
During Christmas, when everyone is tired by the third day of the same songs played 97 times, I would put TSO in and the van would rock out. Each boy taking his turn with the trumpet or drums or electric bass or acoustic guitar. All very entertaining. Mom is happy. Boys are happy. Happy van.
Unique and usual night. Our family finding that which makes us all content. And together.
