I'm not a professional...

blogger.

So at times like now when I know that I want to blog but feel so tired and the red couch is calling much more loudly than the incomplete thoughts meandering around in my head and the boys can not seem to grasp their writing assignment and I think I can not possibly think of one more way to describe how to do their writing assignment and I remember that tomorrow is sleep in Thursday so that I am tempted to start early on the sleep in part, again because of the red couch, and Husband is not home yet with the Chairman because they went on his first hunting trip tonight, which was successful which means meat which means that one more will still have to be put to bed when he gets home and stream of consciousness writing is all that I have got left in me that I am grateful, and every professional blogger out in Blogville is also grateful, that I am NOT a professional.

  1. So sleep-in Thursday sounds really good to me right now and perhaps it might just happen because it's been snowing all day and it's going to snow all night clear through Thursday evening so it's certainly possible that we'll be snowed in and I won't be able to do anything but sleep as long as I can (being old, I can no longer sleep as long as I want to) then have as many cups of coffee as I want to along with a freshly baked scone or muffin since I'll have time for that because I'll be snowed in. I'm not a professional blogger either. Obviously.

    Deer hunting?

  2. You are so funny! I need a sleep in day, it sounds wonderful.

I was going to ask the same thing - deer hunting? Our freezer is bereft of backstrap these days.

  3. What is this "sleep-in Thursday" of which you speak and how do I get these people to do it?

Love the new design, by the way.

  4. Not a professional, either, which means I totally get this post because I totally live this post more often than not!
