Heaven might be a little bit...

like a pool party. I decided this today after being with friends and our accumulated 21 kids at a pool party. We are a unique mix of homeschooling moms, adoptive moms, biological moms, moms of special needs kids, moms with multi-cultural kids and multi-cultural moms.

It was divine.

I sat there and watched these incredibly diverse group of kids play water polo & water volleyball together. They held diving and biggest splash contests with cheers for one another. The big kids took turns giving the moms a break by looking after the little kids. There was nary a bicker, a squabble or a tift.

It was divine.

And the moms. Well, we sat and chatted about life with these treasures, about what God is teaching us through these treasures, about the struggles and joys of homeschool, about the latest and greatest tips we had discovered in raising these treasures, and laughed until we were giddy and the kids wanted to know what was so funny.

It was divine.

I left convinced that heaven just might be a little bit like today's pool party. Full of diversity, full of treasures, and full of hearts abundantly, endlessly praising God's works.
