Thankful Thursday....

and apparently I'm a blogging fool these days with so much to say and time to say it.

Thankful today for this week of rest. We've slept in every morning, taken school easily, and called a hiatus on stress.

Thankful for some major projects being accomplished. Namely, our garbage disposal exploded which led to a replacement which led to the broken instant hot water tank being removed which ultimately led to a new sink unit because the old one had been patched for the last 8 years with duct tape. Husband figured that all the work it would take to simply replace the disposal was not worth it if the other broken things did not also go at the same time.

Thankful for Husband's amazing home improvement skills.

Thankful for a current study of James. It is an epistle that has more than once brought me to my confessional knees as I consider its call to steadfast faith without unbelief. Life and times right now give every reason for wondering what the future holds, but believers are called to not doubt the One who holds all plans in His hands.

Thankful for my boys. The older two are applying for summer jobs. The younger one turns 11 this week. With all of the growing up, I am grateful for the time spent with them these past few weeks in life experiences, educational experiences, and rest.
