threw us all for a loop yesterday and today. So I declared ketchup. As in "Let's ketch-up with some sleep before tackling life."
I stayed in bed a whole hour longer. The boys stayed in bed almost two hours longer.
I worked on my Bible study in the quiet and dark stillness. They worked on their rest in the quiet and dark stillness, only punctuated by the cats chasing around.
Now, we're all up and ready to face the day. Mom restored through the Word, and the boys restored through some extra sleep.
Yet another way the Lord uses the spiritual and the practical to display His great gifts.
I so often forget that our God in all His awesomeness is a God of order who often uses the practical to meet our needs.
