[/caption]From left to right, Patrick Henry, Richard Henry Lee, Peyton Randolph (Speaker of the House of Burgesses), Edmund Randolph, a Tory, and Major George Washington. Governor Dunmore is on the balcony dissolving the House of Burgesses.

[/caption]This was the group that presented at the cannon firing. The remainder of the corps joined them for the march down Duke of Gloucester Street.

ReplyDeleteThese are so cool and we just finished reading the Felicity series of the American Girl books (colonial era) so we know all about Gov. Dunmore. I'll have to show her these pics!
