I have to pull myself away from this computer for a bit so he can install MY NEW PRINTER!

Woo Hoo!

I don't even remember when the old printer broke, but it was well over a year ago. In the interim, some friends gave us a couple of their old printers from his office, which have worked great for Husband. We have truly appreciated the gift.

However, we are a divided family right now. He's Windows, and I am Mac. But we are still managing to make things work out. We are, not the computers. My Mac refuses, absolutely, to talk or zaggle or wi-fi with the printer. This means that when I need to print something out I have to email it to Husband's computer and then he sends it to the printer.

But NOT ANY MORE. I have been saving my pennies and nickels and pop tabs, no, those are for something else. But I've been saving everything I could save so that when Apple hosted their back to school sale on all things computer-y, I could purchase a new printer.

And she arrived today. The box has lingo on it like Canon Pixma iP4500, but I'm naming her Mabel. Mac and Mabel are a match made in Appleland.
