to whiteboard erasers suffering from extreme gunk build up on the erasing part that leaves smeary traces of whiteboard marker gunk across the formerly known white-board. Ewww!
Expo makes a nice eraser. It's a blue plastic handle with several layers of thick felted material as the erasing surface. You just peel off the old dirty layer to expose a new layer. It works pretty well, but leaves shadows esp with the green marker. I end up using a light squirting of Windex and paper towels at the end of each school day to get all the shadows off. The dry-erase wipes in a canister don't work nearly as well as the Windex, I just hope the Windex isn't killing my dry erase board surface!
No, no ideas. I just bought new ones every school year when we were using the white board everyday and threw them away at the end of the year.

ReplyDeleteI've washed mine in soap and water in the sink before. Several times. They last for a while.
