than I was this morning. I left my house at 8:00 a.m. with a change of clothes (& shoes) in the car because it was just going to be that kind of day.
I didn't return home until after 3:30 p.m. with a deer in headlights glazed look.
Two questions I was asked today while driving to and fro were:
"I think skin is waterproof. What do you think?" and "Did your car have a balloon on it when you bought it?"
And in case you were wondering, 245 white 18x12 gift bags with clipboards and assorted silent auction items can be fit into a Honda Odyssey, with all three children inside, plus 2 large black garbage bags of clothes for Goodwill, plus drycleaning, plus a book bag full of library books, plus a change of clothes (& shoes), plus a slingshot, a toy rifle, plus a bag full of purchased Book Fair books, plus my purse and notebook full of event logistics.
However, getting all of those things inside and then unpacking them isn't nearly as easy as it sounds.
I'm going to go drink more coffee. It's going to be a long night.
Amazing how it's always harder to unpack the stuff isn't it?
